TU-K leads in Patenting Intellectual Property

The Technical University of Kenya is among is among the top four public universities patenting intellectual assets in Kenya. The University so far has 14 pending patents, 3 utility model applications, 2 industrial designs and 3 copyright certificates bringing them to a total of 22 IP assets.

Kenya Institute of Supplies Management Training

KISM training of School of Business procurement students by KISM'S Marketing official Mr. Sebastian Mwalili. He trained the students on Kenya Institute of Supplies Management Membership, Training and Examinations CPSP-K & APS-K Exams. Other particants of the training include the Director, School of Business-TUK Dr. Micheni, the PROCSA Patron madam Petwa, PROCSA Chairman Mr. Christopher and the Department of Management Science lecturers Dr Wasike, Mr Karungani, Mr Vincent, Mr Sang and Ms Masindet.

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is a class of integrated software that uses software technologies to implement real-time management of business processes in an organization. ERPs normally cut across organizations, making them large and complex. Software researchers have for many years established that complexity affects software quality negatively and must therefore be controlled with novel metrics and models of evaluation that can determine when the software is at acceptable levels of quality and when not.

School of Business PHD Graduands

School of Business and Management Studies wishes to congratulate three new PHD graduands from the School of Business and Management Studies. The three are Dr Grace Akinyi (Department of Accounting and Finance), Dr Judith Wasike (Department of Management Science and Technology) and Dr David Kahando (Department of Business Administration and Entreprenuership). The three were awarded the PHD Degrees on the 7th Graduation ceremony held in December 2019.
